Schedule: Part-time, Monday to Friday (consistent daily schedule required)

About the Role

Draco Natural Products is a world leader and supplier of high-performance, natural bio-active ingredients for the nutritional supplement, functional beverage, and cosmetic industries.

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Office Assistant (Front Desk & Operations) to support day-to-day office administration at our San Jose headquarters. This part-time, on-site role serves as the first point of contact for visitors and vendors while also providing administrative and operational support across the office.

This is a hands-on, in-person role that requires strong communication skills, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities independently in a professional office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary front desk contact by greeting visitors, vendors, and clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answer, screen, and route incoming phone calls and emails
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Create, edit, and maintain Excel spreadsheets, including accurate data entry, formatting, and basic formulas
  • Maintain office organization, filing systems, and inventory of office supplies
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the office and leadership team

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 1-2 years of relevant office, administrative, or front desk experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with standard office software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a consistent part-time, on-site schedule
  • Ability to lift and move packages up to approximately 25 lbs as needed
  • Fluency in English required; Mandarin proficiency is strongly preferred due to regular communication with Mandarin-speaking vendors, clients, or internal stakeholders

We are seeking candidates who can begin work within a reasonable timeframe following an offer.

Work Location Requirement

This position is classified as in-person and must be performed on-site at our San Jose, CA location. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this role.
